GCISD’s Rick Westfall named lone finalist for Keller ISD superintendent

At a special Keller ISD board meeting on Monday, trustees named Rick Westfall the lone finalist for the district’s superintendent position. Westfall, who has been deputy superintendent of Grapevine-Colleyville ISD since 2011, will now undergo a state-mandated 21-day waiting period before he can officially be hired for the position. Current KISD Superintendent Randy Reid announced in January that after five years with the district, he would retire in July, prompting the board of trustees to begin the search that led to Westfall.
