Developer wants to bring residential high rise to The Star in Frisco

Frisco City Council approved Tuesday amending plans for The Star in Frisco development, which include a potential residential high rise in the 91-acre development. The amendments to the development’s plans stipulate that the developer cannot build a residential high rise at The Star unless City Council approves the plans for the building. Frisco’s developmental services director John Lettelleir stressed that approving the amendments would not authorize the developer to build the high rise; the amendments would just allow the developer to present plans to City Council at a later date to either approve or deny.
