Frisco ISD board of trustees is expected to name a lone finalist for superintendent during a special meeting on Monday. The meeting is expected to begin at 3 p.m. with the board going into closed session soon after. The board is expected to make the announcement after closed session. Trustees spent this week interviewing candidates for the position of superintendent, which is currently held by Jeremy Lyon. Lyon, who has been with the district since 2013, announced his retirement in March after 31 years in public education. He will officially retire at the end of the school year.
