Updated 8:40 p.m. The tornado warning issued earlier this evening for portions of Brazoria County has expired, according to the National Weather Service in Houston. Posted 8:20 p.m. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued through 9 p.m. Tuesday evening for Galveston, eastern Fort Bend, eastern Brazoria and southeast Harris counties, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS also issued a tornado warning for east central Brazoria County until 8:30 p.m. as thunderstorms roll through the Greater Houston area.
